Hong Kong Airlines and DFASS Group sign partnership deal

For inflight duty free concession and related services.

Hong Kong Airlines signed the long-term agreement with DFASS Group that covers Hong Kong Airlines’ SkyShop inflight program and takes effect January 16, 2014.

DFASS Group is one of the world's largest in-flight Duty Free specialty retailers. This is the second full scale concessionaire contract for DFASS in Greater China.

This additional presence in Hong Kong rounds out DFASS’ presence in the three key air transport hubs in Asia: Singapore, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Airlines’ passengers will benefit from the new partnership since the adoption of integrated IT solutions will take the traditional shopping experience beyond inflight to website and mobile retail.

Hong Kong Airlines passengers will benefit from an enhanced browsing and shopping experience. In addition, DFASS’s scale of operations in the region and passenger knowledge will ensure the right fit of merchandise to best fit customers’ demands.
