According to the founder of Zchron and Krishom Interior Design and Architecture Nison Chan, who runs both the Residential and Commercial branches of his design empire, this decision is made even harder when the reputation of most interior design frms on the market leans towards the negative spectrum. “Our industry relies heavily on word of mouth recommendations for repeat business,” he explains, “unfortunately, there are many interior designers and contractors who are irresponsible and as a result, it gives a bad name to our industry overall.” Working hard to change this image for the interior design industry, Chan and his team are driven to deliver not only quality designs, but also great service and a fnal result that will leave the clients happy, but also most importantly returning for help when time comes to decorate a new project. Repeat business is extremely important in the mind of Chan, not only because it’s a great way for him to maintain a steady stream of projects, but it also represents the success and quality of his work. “Through Zcrhon and Krishom, we work on numerous luxury residential and commercial projects. And many of our customers not only return to us, but they also recommend us to friends and family,” he explains. Among his most recognisable commercial projects created Krishom brand are SaSa cosmetics retail shops, Carlsberg offce, as well as the Escada boutique. “These brands continue to come to use whenever they have a new project. This is a testament to our quality of design, service and it proves that customers are satisfy with the end result we deliver.”

Chan and his team have been awarded various accolades over the years for their residential projects under the Zchron brand, and this pass year is no different as he continues to create beautiful homes for his existing patrons as well as for new homeowners. “Over the years, many of my most loyal customers have come to us time and again for help. When they move from one luxury property to the next, they come to us for help to ensure they can create a new living environment that is as comfortable, luxurious and beautiful as the old home we’ve created for them,” Chan explains. Gaining the customer’s respect and trust is what drives Chan and his team to continue to create beautiful designs. It is also through this trust he’s built over the years with these clients that has lead him to score new projects. “A lot of my customers understand we take interior design very seriously. They know we are going to not only provide them with a great blueprint, but that we are able to deliver what we promised.”

Because of this passion for perfection and a drive to achieve impeccable results, many of his customers happily recommend him to their friends. “Our clients come from the most soughed after addresses across the city, from Kowloon Tong to Beacon Hill, they are individuals that have a certain level of sophistication and expectations. So when they want to ensure their homes will look the very best, they come to us.” As to future plans for expansion, Chan believes the key is to prefect each project, one at a time. “Our goal ultimately, is to deliver projects that exceed the expectations of our customers. As easy as this may sound, this is one of the biggest obstacles in the industry. We want our customers to be happy with what the beautiful designs we create for them. And if we can do this, I am confdent that we will become leaders in the realm of interior design for those seeking only the best.”
