19 building plans get approval
Six were located on Hong Kong island.
According to a report, the Buildings Department approved 19 building plans in June - six on Hong Kong Island, four in Kowloon, and nine in the New Territories.
Five were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, seven were for commercial developments, one was for a factory and industrial development, and six were for community services developments.
Consent was given for work to start on 16 building projects that, when completed, will provide 285,073 square metres of gross floor area for domestic use, involving 4,232 units, and 39,918 square metres of gross floor area for non-domestic use.
The department received notification of work starting on 10 building projects in June.
It also issued four occupation permits - two on Hong Kong Island, one in Kowloon, and one in the New Territories.
Of the buildings certified for occupation, the gross floor area for domestic use was 7,043 square metres, involving 30 units, and 3,159 square metres for non-domestic use.
