Future-ready: Inculcating quality education through digital intelligence
AISL envisions digital intelligence education to facilitate new and relevant world experiences for students.
The rapidly evolving technological and digital world requires students to be astutely aware of the benefits of digital technologies and the presence of their individual experiences. In the rise of the age of digital intelligence, educators are tasked with educating students so they can face their future with confidence.
AISL Group, in its commitment to innovate its technology offerings, has recently developed a Digital Intelligence curriculum in the areas of Computational Thinking and Programming, Digital Awareness and Wellbeing, Computer Networks, Data Information, and Multimedia from K-12 for all their schools. Students can have the opportunity to think critically, question the information they receive, and learn how to use various technologies to solve real-world problems.
The group envisions digital intelligence education to facilitate new and relevant world experiences to prepare students. The curriculum is an amalgamation of STEAM-related expertise, partnered by educational practitioners, universities, and inventors to offer experiential use of technology in learning.
Amongst the highlights of this curriculum are LEGO education, DJI robotics coding and programming, CoolThink machine learning and ethical artificial intelligence with support from MIT, amongst others.
As part of this innovation, the AISL Group developed the new and upgraded Digital Intelligence Innovation labs piloted within Harrow Schools. It is a combined effort of a one-of-a-kind education and industry partnership. These labs function as a space for creative innovation without any barriers where students can experiment through trial and error and become the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of their generation.
Combined with trusted and curated content by providers and leading institutions, this type of application of skills will provide learners with an understanding of how to connect subject-based knowledge acquisitions with applied learning, in new and relevant contexts, to ask questions of their own and come up with their own solutions.
AISL Harrow School students have begun to receive valued and relevant learning experiences, providing for sustainable and meaningful use of technology not only for themselves but also for wider contribution to the community.
All Harrow Schools are expected to have their own Innovation Learning Hub based on STEAM experiential and applied learning, which will be shared amongst the community to exchange and share best practices.
In its pursuit to inculcate innovations through digital education, AISL Schools has been recognised by the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards, receiving the award in the Digital - Education category.
