Co-working space operator closes west Kowloon landmark leasing deal
Campfire Collaborative Spaces leased three floors of Harbourfront Landmark building.
Bloomberg reports that co-working space operator Campfire Collaborative Spaces has leased three floors of the Harbourfront Landmark building in western Kowloon from private equity firm Pamfleet Real Estate Fund.
A number of massive co-working deals highlight their growing footprint in the Hong Kong office market with co-working companies accounting for 10% new lettings on Hong Kong Island in 2017.

“For the next six to 12 months, we will continue to see co-working operators expanding in the market,” said Denis Ma, head of Hong Kong research at JLL. “A lot of operators are trying to gain market share because it’s very much a new sector.”
Total flexible workspace take-up hit 350,000 sqft in 2017 as operators continue to snap up and redevelop Grade B buildings into swanky office spaces, according to data from Colliers.
