6 home developments get thumbs up for pre-sale

Time to get started.

According to a release, the Lands Department issued six pre-sale consents for residential developments, including one to replace another issued in the third quarter of last year in Tseung Kwan O, and two pre-sale consents for commercial developments in the fourth quarter of 2012.

The five pre-sale consents for residential developments, excluding the one to replace an earlier pre-sale consent, involved 2,231 uncompleted units.

Three developments in Yau Tong, on Lai Chi Kok Road, and in Yuen Long, comprising 1,190 units, will be completed this year.

Another development at Argyle Street, comprising 53 units, will be completed next year. The remaining development on Tsing Yi, comprising 988 units, will be completed in 2015.

As at the end of December, 23 applications for pre-sale consent for uncompleted residential developments, and five applications for pre-sale consent for uncompleted commercial developments were being processed.

The 23 applications regarding uncompleted residential developments being processed involved 12,009 units.

The department is processing three applications for consent to assign involving 1,284 residential units.
