Gov’t approves 10 building plans
The approved plans are for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
The government approved 10 building plans in October: four in Hong Kong, three in Kowloon, and three in New Territories.
Of the approved plans, three are for apartment or apartment-commercial developments, two for commercial, three for factory and industrial, and two for community services developments.
An additional 16 building projects will provide a combined 127,565 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 3,024 units, and 153,470 sq m of gross floor area for non-domestic use.
The Buildings Department also issued fourteen occupation permits, including 1 in Hong Kong, 7 in Kowloon, and 6 in New Territories.
The buildings certified for occupation span 15,368 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use, involving 480 units, and 82,267 sq m for non-domestic use.
Meanwhile, the government received 2,974 reports about unauthorised building works and issued 553 removal orders in October.
