Property sales soar 35.1% MoM in February
Year-on-year sales increased by 49.6%.
The property segment saw higher sales in February, with 5,980 building units sold.
According to the Land Registry, the total sale for February was 35.1% higher than in January and 49.6% higher compared to the same month a year ago.
Of those sold, 4,282 were residential units. The number of sold residential units was up 40.3% from January and 47% higher than in February 2022.
As the number of sold residential units rose, the total consideration also increased in February, rising 44.1% MoM and 24.4% YoY to $36.7b.
Overall, total considerations for all properties sold during the month rose 34.8% MoM and 21.5% YoY to $43.8b.
