
Chen reappointed HKPC Chairman
He will serve a two-year term.
Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying has reappointed Clement Chen Cheng-jen as Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council for two years starting July 1.
Chen was first appointed Chairman of the HKPC in July 2009 and was reappointed in 2011 for two more years until June 30, 2013.
HKPC was established in 1967 to promote increased productivity in Hong Kong. Its role is to provide integrated support to innovative and growth-oriented Hong Kong firms across the value chain.
HKPC's main sectoral focus is Hong Kong's manufacturing and related service activities, while its main geographical focus is Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. HKPC provides its clients with a diverse range of support services in product development, consultancy, training and technology transfer.
