
Hong Kong's November exports jumps 10.2%
As total prices rose 1.2%.
According to the Census & Statistics Department, the volume of total goods exports recorded a year-on-year increase of 10.2% in November.
The volume of goods re-exports rose 10.5% over November 2011, while that of domestic exports fell 3.6%. At the same time, the volume of goods imports rose 7.6%.
The prices of goods re-exports and domestic exports increased 1.1% and 2.9%. Taken together, total goods exports prices rose 1.2%. Goods imports prices increased 2.1%.
Comparing the first 11 months of 2012 with the same period in 2011, the volume of goods re-exports fell 1.1%, while that of domestic exports fell 14.3%. Taken together, total goods exports volume decreased 1.3%. Goods imports volume increased by 0.1%.
Goods re-exports prices rose 3.6%, while those of domestic exports increased 2.5%. Taken together, total goods exports prices rose 3.6%. Goods imports prices increased 3.4%.
