It’s Hong Kong Week in Taiwan
And it opens today in Taipei.
Hong Kong’s first attempt to promote itself in Taiwan will feature its diverse culture from Nov. 23 to Dec. 2. The cultural festival will feature 19 performances including dramas, jazz, pop music and Chinese orchestral music.
The cultural event is the first time Hong Kong is showcasing itself in Taiwan as center for culture, in contrast to its traditional image as a global financial hub.
The cultural week is organized by the Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Cooperation and Promotion Council along with Taiwan's Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office.
