AIA launches first robotic investment choice service
This will help clients purchasing new ILAS policies to build their investments.
AIA Hong Kong has launched the city’s first robotic investment choice service to help clients who purchase new investment-linked assurance schemes (ILAS) to build their portfolios, according to a news release.
The insurer will implement the first phase of the new service in mid-May through the Interactive Point of Sale (IPoS) platform for financial planners.
Customers purchasing select new ILAS policies will undergo a financial needs analysis and risk profile assessment. The service will provide more than 120 reference portfolios and risk assessment results, and will make quarterly adjustments based on AIA Investment Management Hong Kong’s (AIMHK) comprehensive market analysis.
In the second phase, AIA Hong Kong will extend the service to various electronic service platforms, giving customers of selected ILAS greater control in building investment portfolios under their insurance policies.
