
HSBC Global Asset Management announces senior appointments for institutional business
Patrice Conxicoeur and Julie Koo are appointed as Global Head of Isurance Coverage and Head of Institutional Business, Asia Pacific, respectively.
According to HSBC, this appointment will take effect from 1 May 2011.
In this newly-created role, Mr Conxicoeur will have overall responsibility for developing business with insurance companies globally, including product strategy and client management. Mr Conxicoeur has been with HSBC for nearly 20 years, having held various senior positions within the quantitative investment team before being appointed as Head of Institutional Business, Asia-Pacific in August 2008.

Julie Koo joined HSBC Global Asset Management as Head of Institutional Sales, Asia-Pacific in early 2010. Since her arrival, Ms. Koo has been instrumental in leading the institutional sales teams to maximize opportunities in the region. Prior to joining HSBC, Julie spent over 15 years in Asia, Europe and the USA in institutional business development positions.
