
Asia Pac's real estate firms raised US$9.93b in capital
It's a US$7.83b down from last year.
According to SNL Financial, Asia-Pacific real estate companies raised a total of approximately US$9.93 billion in capital year-to-date through March 30, down roughly $US7.83 billion from US$17.77 billion raised during the same period in 2014.

So far in 2015, Asia-Pacific real estate companies have favored debt issuances for raising capital. Capital raised through senior debt totaled approximately US$6.65 billion — more than twice the US$2.77 billion raised through common equity.
The total US$2.77 billion raised through common equity was 20% lower than the US$3.49 billion raised in the year-ago period; senior debt saw an even greater year-over-year change, with the US$6.65 billion raised through March 30 coming in at just over half the US$12.94 billion raised in the year-ago period. Capital raised through subordinated debt offerings totaled about US$513 million as of March 30, compared to US$1.30 billion in the year-ago period.
