EMSD rolls out Green Welfare NGOs scheme applications
First batch applications will open on 14 October, whilst second batch opens on 30 November.
The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) has announced new application rounds for the Green Welfare NGOs scheme.
Launched in 2021, the scheme supports welfare non-governmental organisations (NGOs) by facilitating energy audits and implementing energy-saving projects in their facilities. EMSD offers free one-stop services, including baseline energy audits, replacing air conditioners with energy-efficient variable-speed models, and upgrading lighting systems to energy-saving LED lights.
The application process will be divided into two batches. The first batch will be open from 14 October to 29 November, whilst the second batch will run from 30 November to 31 January 2025.
