Tax returns issued for 2017-18
However, the one-off reduction for tax duties announced in the budget address isn’t included yet.
The Inland Revenue Department issued 190,000 profits tax returns, 130,000 property tax returns and 300,000 employer’s returns for the 2017-18 year.
Nearly 2.6m tax returns for individuals will be issued next month, according to a government press release.

However, the one-off reduction of 75% for profits tax, salaries tax and tax under personal assessment announced in Finance Secretary Paul Chan’s 2018 budget address is still not included.
“The reduction will be incorporated into this year’s tax bills once the relevant legislation is enacted,” the release added.
