Chubb appoints Douglas White country president of Hong Kong operations
From being ACE country president.
It has been noted that Douglas White, currently Country President for ACE in Hong Kong with oversight for Taiwan & Macau, will continue in that role, now as Country President for Chubb in Hong Kong overseeing Taiwan & Macau.
According to a release from Chubb, Mr. White worked with Royal Reinsurance and Cunningham Lindsey in London after which he was transferred to Hong Kong, focusing on adjustment of major construction and engineering claims.
He joined Gibbs Insurance Brokers (subsequently renamed HSBC Insurance Brokers) in 1995 and in 2006, was appointed CEO of their Asia Pacific businesses.
In 2010, Mr. White joined Jardine Lloyd Thompson where he managed their businesses in mainland China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam before his appointment in 2014 as Country President for ACE in Hong Kong.
