Fatty Crab unveils weekend Fatty Brunch
According to a release, spring is just around the corner, and with it Fatty Crab brings its Southeast Asian flavours to the table for Fatty Brunch, every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 4:00pm.
Feast on a menu crafted by Chef De Cuisine, Kristofor Olbrich, comprising of brunch favourites along with a range of Brunch Drinks. In its cool surroundings, the neighbourhood joint on Old Bailey Street creates a fun weekend vibe.
Chef Kris has reinvented signature favourites to cater to the Hong Kong market which include Kaya Toast (HK$50) with coconut custard, and mango, Yogurt & Granola (HK$80) made with Greek yogurt, palm sugar syrup, homemade granola, and fruits, and the most raved about Fried Chicken & Waffles (HK$95) topped with smoked maple syrup and sriracha sauce – inspired by American "soul food" with a Southeast Asian twist.
A signature, inspired by a breakfast sandwich from an American favourite (take a guess), is the McGriddle (HK$90) made with buttermilk pancakes, maple nuggets, coriander bacon, egg and cheddar. Smoked pure maple syrup nuggets melted into mini buttermilk pancakes are used as the "bread" of the sandwich, with a sunny side up egg, American cheese, and house smoked coriander bacon in the sandwich. Other dishes are the Fatty BLT (HK$90) with coriander bacon, roasted chili aioli and Pullman toast, as well as Thai Omelet (HK$120) with smoked pork riblets, scallions and chili. Also available during brunch are a selection of items from the dinner menu, which include signature dishes such as Chili Crab, Watermelon Pickle & Crispy Pork, and Fatty Duck, amongst others.
Choose from a list of Brunch Drinks including Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Prosecco, Freshly Squeezed Orange or Watermelon Juice and Thai Iced Tea - or opt for the free flow option, which includes Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Prosecco for HK $200 per person.
