Indulge in Marriott Cafe's seafood dinner buffet
Back by popular demand and inspired by the stunning abundance of fresh seafood from one of Hong Kong’s famous attractions – Sai Kung seafood village, Marriott Café is pleased to showcase once again an array of decadent seafood selections to the sumptuous dinner buffet menu from now to 31 March 2013.
Diners can look forward to an exquisite dining experience, complete with signature seafood dishes prepared in a variety of unique culinary techniques, including famous ‘typhoon‐shelter‐style’ wok‐fried Mantis with crispy garlic and chilli.
This particular style of preparation is believed to have originated in 1950s by boat dwellers and fishermen living in typhoon shelters who developed a distinctive way of cooking seafood.
Other delicious culinary highlights include steamed east star grouperwith spring onion andginger; braised clamin supreme fish soup; braised fish maw and South African abalone in oyster sauce; crispy and salted squid; and steamedscallopwithgarlic, vermicelli and springonion.
