Deliveroo rolls out catering services

This new feature facilitates cross-district delivery from over 50 catering partners.

As life in Hong Kong embraces the ‘new normal’, Deliveroo plans to launch catering services, onboarding over 50 partners, a press release has confirmed. It came into effect after a trial in March where catering partners saw up to 80% jump in their total delivery sales.

Deliveroo added that individuals across Hong Kong can now order food for corporate or social gatherings. Orders over $1,800 will be processed via its van delivery service and customers may opt for multi pick-up points, out-of-zone pick-up, or even choose a cross-harbour delivery. Additional services like menu creation, event set-up, and servers have also been made available for the customers.

To facilitate its new services, Deliveroo has appointed a catering manager outside its headquarters in Hong Kong, the press release added.
