Wine-dine festival to open on 31 October
About 300 booths to be set up.
According to a report, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival will be held at the New Central Harbourfront from October 31 to November 3, under the “Hong Kong: Our Home” Campaign.
About 300 booths managed by international wineries and gourmet food specialists will be set up in six themed zones for different tastes and preferences. Click here for details.
InnoCarnival 2013 will be held at the Science Park from November 2 to 10. There will be more than 700 activities ranging from workshops for different age groups and talks given by scholars and industry professionals, to guided tours and science competitions. Click here for details.
The Hong Kong Dodgeball Championships cum International Invitation Tournament 2013 will be held on November 2 and 3. Sixty teams will compete in five events. The champions of the five categories will represent Hong Kong at the Dodgeball Asia Cup, to be held in Tokyo from December 13 to 15. Click here for details.
Pok Oi Hospital will hold the Active Ageing Sport Day 2013 at Tin Shui Wai Sports Centre on October 31. About 120 seniors from four elderly homes will compete in five contests - javelin, football skills, a wheelchair race, mixed relay, and cheerleading.
More than 200 children aged three to 12 will turn into "Dancing Beans" and perform "Danz to-gather!" at The Square, Citygate Outlets mall, Tung Chung, at 3pm on November 3. When the Tung Chung children start dancing at 3pm, children in Hong Kong's 17 other districts will start dancing at the same time.
