Recycling exhibition rolls out in Kowloon Bay
It will run until April 14.
According to a report, the Environmental Protection Department's roving exhibition on glass bottle recycling moved to Telford Plaza in Kowloon Bay yesterday.
Running until April 14, the exhibition features glass art pieces, such as glass bottle drawings and unique glassware made out of waste glass bottles. Local artist Siuhak has drawn designs being featured in panel displays and game booths, which illustrate the process of glass bottle recycling, to raise public awareness.
A counter has set up for visitors to recycle glass beverage bottles. Those pitching in will receive a souvenir. The exhibition will move to Tai Po Mega Mall from April 18 to 21, to PopCorn, Tseung Kwan O from April 26 to 28, and to Windsor House, Causeway Bay, from May 3 to 5.
The Government has launched a three-month public consultation on the mandatory producer responsibility scheme on glass beverage bottles. The public can email views to the department by May 6.
