Singapore's Firma eyes Hong Kong medical market
Firma Medical Aesthetics Group opened its first clinic in Hong Kong in a 5,200 square space on Duddell Street in Central.
A Singapore-based medical aesthetics company, Firma offers its customers the latest medical technology and aesthetic treatments in a comfortable, professional and private environment. The company provides a comprehensive range of medical beauty services including body shaping and toning, breast lifting, skin anti-ageing and hair restoration programmes.
Mr Timothy Yeo, Director of Firma, said "We chose Hong Kong to set up our first outlet outside Singapore because Hong Kong is recognised as a hub of medical beauty services in Asia. We see the potential in the increasing acceptance of Hong Kong people and visitors towards new medical aesthetic technologies.
"We are confident in the Hong Kong market and as such, decided to start our flagship operation here,” Mr Yeo added.
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Andrew Davis, said "The significant investment amount that Firma has placed in its first Hong Kong outlet signifies a strong vote of confidence in the business environment of Hong Kong as well as its potential in the medical aesthetics industry.”
Mr Davis added "We wish the company every success in its business in our city, and look forward to providing Firma with further assistance when needed.”
Starting a business in Hong Kong, for companies large and small, has been further facilitated with the launch of the Government's electronic incorporation service in March 2011. The time required for company incorporation and business registration has now been significantly reduced from four to one working day.
