Mid-level managerial and professional employees had higher monthly salaries compared with last year - so are you one of them?
According to a release, the average monthly salaries for mid-level managerial and professional employees rose 5.9% in June compared with last year, the Census & Statistics Department says.
The Nominal Salary Index showed that, after discounting the increase in consumer prices as measured by the Consumer Price Index (C), the Real Salary Index (A) increased 0.5% in June compared with a year earlier.
The survey findings also showed 75% of employees had profit-sharing bonuses and 28% enjoyed housing benefits, higher than the 74% and 21% recorded in 2010.
About 260 companies were selected for this year's survey.
