Millennials struggle with health and wellness during hectic work week
Less than half are satisfied with their overall health.
Majority of millennials in Hong Kong find themselves health conscious but less than half are satisfied with their overall health and wellness, a Bupa survey showed.
The survey revealed that this age group are grappling with prioritising their health and wellness due to long working hours, social obligations, and lack of motivation.
Aside from this, the age group faces challenges due to the pandemic, including lack of sports facilities and increased stress.
Andrew Merrilees, Managing Director, Bupa Hong Kong, said, "The unmet health and wellbeing needs of Hong Kong millennials represent both an opportunity and an obligation. There is a white space in the market for products and services capable of helping millennial consumers overcome the gap between their wellbeing ambitions and their current state of knowledge and ability."
