Hong Kong firm takes over British scientific equipment maker
Techcomp (Holdings) Ltd buys controlling interest in Edinburgh Instruments for US$2.9 million.

EI are specialist manufacturers of Lifetime Fluorescence Spectrometers, Lasers and Gas Sensors for scientific research and industrial markets. The business is based in Livingston, Scotland and was founded in 1971.
