The KBQuest Group Inc. received top honors in the IT Services category of the Hong Kong Business International Business Awards 2017 for its achievement in the China Light and Power Green Elite Program. The accreditation pilot project aims to encourage primary school students to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyles at an early age.

Launched in 2016, the enhanced Green Elite campus accreditation program partners with school bodies and environmental groups to enable participating students and teachers to live greener everyday lives using checklists, assessment criteria, educational materials, visits, talks, and workshops. It also features food waste audits to encourage them not to waste food. Moreover, the booklets give the students various tips to be more eco-friendly.

Students can also register as Green Elites via www.clp.com.hk/greenelites, a portal developed by KBQuest Group Inc. as part of the accreditation program. The website provides Hong Kong’s primary school students a fun way to learn green habits using games and interactive content with an award system.

The Green Elite program boasts under its wing over 23,000 students from over 300 local primary schools, including 8,000 students of Po Leung Kuk primary schools who are taught to be more environment-conscious through activities, visits, and workshops under the accreditation program.
