HK, Guangdong launch cooperation projects on IP
The projects cover areas such as cross-boundary IP protection.
Hong Kong and Guangdong unveiled cooperation projects on intellectual property (IP) rights protection from mid-2022 to the end of 2023.
The Guangdong/Hong Kong Expert Group’s cooperation projects cover areas such as reinforcing cooperation on IP in the Greater Bay Area and promoting cooperation on IP protection, trading and services, and exchange, as well as promotion and education activities in both places.
As part of the project, customs authorities in both places will work on copyright protection on the Internet, and both sides will strengthen cooperation in and exchanges of copyright enforcement.
Over the past two years, the group has implemented 19 cooperation projects.
