TS Tsang to kick off Hong Kong Week in Taipei
The event will last for 10 days.
Accoridng to a government release, Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing, serving as vice-chairperson of the Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic & Cultural Co-operation & Promotion Council, will officiate at the opening ceremony of Hong Kong Week 2012 tomorrow in Taipei.
The first-ever Hong Kong Week will start on November 23, and lasts for 10 days. It will introduce creative works by Hong Kong's cultural and arts sector, providing opportunities for art practitioners and organisations from Hong Kong and Taiwan to communicate and exchange ideas.
The event is organised by the Hong Kong-Taiwan Cultural Co-operation Committee and the Hong Kong Economic, Trade & Cultural Office (Taiwan).
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Friday.
