Galaxy Entertainment net profit soars up by 52% in H1 2024
Basic earnings per share stood at 100.3 Hong Kong cents.
Galaxy Entertainment Ltd.’s net profit soared up to $4.4b in H1 2024, a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 52% according to the company’s unaudited financial report.
It also showed growth in net profit attributable to shareholders (NPAS), up 52% YoY to $4.4b whilst adjusted EBITDA was $6b, jumping by 37%.
Net revenue also increased by 37% YoY to $21.5b. The company attributes this to all three (Galaxy, StarWorld, and Broadway Macau) flagship locations reporting an increase in revenue.
Basic earnings per share stood at 100.3 Hong Kong cents for the period.
The company announced an interim dividend of $0.50 per share to be paid on 25 October 2024.
It also announced the opening of Capella at Galaxy Macau by mid-2025 which will offer 100 villas and suites.
