Macau gaming's gross gaming revenue pegged to balloon 18% in November
Despite softer weekend results.
According to Barclays Research, the average table-only revenue came at HK$886mn per day for 11-17 November, this was 4.8% softer than the previous period of 1-10 November, but Barclays would highlight that the previous period included two weekends.
Here's more:
The November month-to-date (1-17 November) table revenue at HK$912mn per day was lower than the strong months of August (HK$924mn a day) and October (HK$1.1bn a day) but stronger than July (HK$885mn per day) and September (HK$902mn a day).
November should still see 18% y/y GGR growth based on the current run-rate: Adding in our assumption of HK$1.1bn for slot revenue, the current run-rate implies that the November overall GGR could come in at HK$28.5bn, which would imply about 18% y/y growth.
