Perception Digital unveils 3Bays PDXtra TV

The company gives exclusive distribution rights in Hong Kong to Jebsen & Co. Ltd.

Perception Digital Holdings Limited (“Perception Digital”), specialists in technological solutions for consumer electronics, announced the launch of new product, PDXtra TV under its own brand “3Bays”. The product is to be distributed in Hong Kong and Macau through Jebsen & Co. Ltd (“Jebsen”).

The new launch comes on the heels of the launch of the first “3Bays” product the Vulkano, a multimedia entertainment platform, following the appointment of Jebsen as its exclusive distributor in Hong Kong and Macau for the brand in July. Vulkano has enjoyed an excellent response from the market. The new PDXtra TV is a multi-function system introducing new connectivity capabilities into traditional TV entertainment. While watching free terrestrial TV programmes, users may enjoy a wide range of activities such as surfing the Internet, viewing online movies, listening to music, playing games, looking at Facebook and online chatting as well as receiving and sending emails or word processing on the TV.

The launch of PDXtraTV adds powerful interactive connectivity functions to TV viewing. By adopting more than 20 of the Group’s patented inventions, PDXtraTV can fully satisfy the needs of local users, and is easy to use including the setup, as well as its operating interface and functions.

On the other hand, Perception Digital is a veteran in commercialising its patents and constantly developing new products. The latest product is Golf Swing Analyzer, a portable device records motion of swing and shows the statistics immediately on mobile phone for instant review. This is enabled by the group’s prominent technology “3D Motion Sensor for Sports” that can filter false trigger and getting finer details from the swing motions. The proprietary algorithms for high accuracy swing motion detection are also application to baseball, bowling, tennis and other sports, according to a Perception Digital report.
