PineBridge Investments appoints Anita Varga as Managing Director

Varga is a 25-year veteran who  previously headed the regional product development of ING Investment Management Asia Pacific.

PineBridge Investments announced the appointment of Anita Varga as Managing Director and Head of Product Development, Asia. Ms. Varga will contribute significantly in driving the expansion of PineBridge’s Asia product offering for global investors.

A 25-year industry veteran who previously headed the regional product development of ING Investment Management Asia Pacific and Deutsche Asset Management Asia, Ms. Varga will be based in Hong Kong, with a focus on coordinating product development initiatives in the Asia ex Japan region.

Ms. Varga has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with over 10 years in senior management product development roles. Prior to joining PineBridge, Ms. Varga worked for ING Investment Management (Asia Pacific) as their Regional Head of Product. During her tenure at ING she led teams that successfully expanded their Luxembourg funds range into Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, and developed Cayman funds for distribution in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Before joining ING, Ms. Varga spent two years as Regional Head of Product Management Asia Pacific and MENA for Deutsche Asset Management Limited. At Deutsche Asset Management, Ms. Varga managed a team of 15 professionals across Asia, India, Japan, Australia and MENA and introduced the DWS product range into various Asia countries.
