New postage rates rolled out

According to a report, new postage rates took effect today, and Hongkong Post also issued two new stamps bearing "Local Mail Postage" and "Air Mail Postage”.

The "Local Mail Postage" stamps, priced at $1.70 each, can be used for sending mail items weighing up to 30g to local addresses.

The "Air Mail Postage" stamps, priced at $3.70 each, can be used for sending airmail items weighing up to 20g.

New stamp booklets for the two types of stamps, together with low-value definitive stamp packs, are on sale at convenience stores and other non-post office outlets.

Reel stamps bearing "Local Mail Postage" and "Air Mail Postage" indications are available at all electronic stamp vending machines.
