Gov’t names new representatives to APEC Business Advisory Council
The new representatives will end their term on 31 December 2025.
The government has appointed Nisa Leung as the Hong Kong, China representative to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council (ABAC).
Leung will replace Nicholas Ho, who has taken on the position of Commissioner for Belt and Road.
Duncan Chiu, meanwhile, will serve as HKC's alternative representative to the ABAC.
Leung and Chie will end their terms on 31 December 2025.
Meanwhile, the government reappointed Marjorie Yang as HKC's representative to the ABAC for two years commencing 1 January 2024.
Leung is the Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners, whilst Chiu is the Chairman of Lai Yuen Company Limited. Yang is the Chairman of Esquel Group.
