HK-based fintech KPay expands operations to Singapore
The firm plans to triple its merchant base in Singapore to over 10,000.
HK-based fintech and payments company KPay is expanding to Singapore.
KPay has over 30,000 merchant partners in Asia, with 3,000 in Singapore alone.
With the expansion, KPay seeks to triple its merchant base in Singapore to over 10,000 merchants and double its Singapore workforce to over 100 to accelerate digital transformation in the region.
Meanwhile, the firm also announced new executive appointments to strengthen its influence across APAC.
The new appointments include Lytous Zhou as Chief Product Officer and Thomas Huang as the General Manager of KPay in Japan.
Zhou was formerly VP of Product Design at Lark and held product leadership roles at Huawei and Tencent. Meanwhile, Huang was head of Key Accounts of KeeTa and head of Channel Sales for Meituan Hong Kong & Macau.
