39 pre-sale consents for residential projects issued in 2023

The consents involved a total of 21,258 residential units.

The government issued a total of 39 pre-sale consents for residential development involving 21,258 residential units in 2023.

12 of these were issued for residential developments involving a total of 5,285 in 4Q2023.

1 Yuen Long development with 300 units and another in Mid-Levels West with 7 units are expected to be completed this year.

In 2025, 3 phases of a development in Kai Tak (1,305 units), 1 development in Kwun Tong (807 units), 2 developments in Yuen Long (676 units), and 2 phases of a development in Ho Man Tin (990 units) are expected to achieve completion.

In addition, 1 phase of a development in Wong Chuk Hang with 642 units is expected to be ready in 2025 with another phase involving 558 units expected to be completed in 2026.

23 applications for pre-sale consent for residential developments involving 10,345 units were being processed in December 2023.

The government is currently handling 3 applications for consent to assign involving 976 residential units.
