Colliers and Knight Frank announced the sale of The Connaught, at 138 Connaught Road West in Sai Ying Pun via tender.
The 29-storey en-bloc hotel offers 52 rooms with a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour, spanning a gross floor area of approximately 41,705 sq. ft.
The 999-year leasehold property is near Sai Ying Pun MTR, Shun Tak Centre, and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, offering easy access to Macau and Mainland China. It's also close to the International Finance Centre and Central’s business district.
In addition, its proximity to the University of Hong Kong makes it a potential dormitory for senior teaching staff.
The property has a guide price of $600m, down from an initial $1b.
The tender closes on Wednesday, 23 October at 12 pm.
