Home sales rise in February
There were 4,282 units sold during the month.
Transaction volumes in the primary and secondary markets rose to 655 and 3,627 units, respectively, in February.
This brought the total home sales for the month to 4,282 units, higher than the 3,051 record in January.
“With pent-up demand unleashed, primary home sales began to gather momentum,” JLL commented.
“Sell-through rates of recent launches were satisfactory. 'NOVO LAND (Phase 2B)' in Tuen Mun offloaded all 352 units on the first day of launch. Meanwhile, 'KOKO ROSSO' in Yau Tong sold 96% of 308 units put up for sale in the recent two rounds of launches,” the expert added.
Home prices also picked up during the month alongside transaction volumes.
Data from JLL showed that mass residential capital values rose 2.0% MoM.
