Topshop opens in Hong Kong

First store is at Queen’s Road, Central.

British brand Topshop last week became the latest fashion name to launch in Hong Kong in a bid to enter China’s lucrative market. Sir Philip Green opened the doors of his first Topshop store in Hong Kong assisted by Hong Kong celebrities.

Green is the CEO of the Arcadia Group, a British retail giant that includes Topshop, BHS and Dorothy Perkins.

Green said he wants to use it as a stepping stone to mainland China and is currently looking to open two more flagships stores as soon as real estate agents can find him suitable properties.

“I am confident that the fashion-loving Hong Kong customers will enjoy the retail experience and fantastic product offer that Topshop will deliver for them.”
