Urban Outfitters sets foot in Asia with first store in Hong Kong
They've collaborated with Lab Concept.
Urban Outfitters has announced that it will be opening its first store in Asia on September 30, 2014, at Queensway Plaza, Hong Kong, in collaboration with Lab Concept, the contemporary retail management arm of Lane Crawford.
According to a release from Urban Outfitters, founded in Philadelphia in 1970, the brand has long established itself as a leading alternative lifestyle retailer.
Its collection of apparel and homewares covers a creative mix of contemporary fashion, accessories, gifts, books and music.

The 186m2/2,000sqft space will be delivered in Urban Outfitters signature style.
Exposed building structure and industrial details will be complemented with displays and fixtures conceived by the Urban Outfitter’s in-house display team.
Urban Outfitters Hong Kong will host an extensive selection of new and directional women’s and men’s brands from around the world.
Vintage clothing and accessories are represented by the ‘Urban Renewal’ label, a pioneering line of curated vintage apparel deeply rooted in the concept of upcycling.
Found and reimagined pieces were sourced from Europe and California.
A large-scale artwork commissioned with internationally renowned Spanish artist Ricardo Cavolo will provide the focal point of the raw design and add softness to the store.
Famed for his bright, colourful characters and scenes, his work will also be presented alongside hand-painted details by London based artist Camille Walala and German-born artist ‘Kef’.
