HK Transport Department sets up 34 HKeToll service points
These consultation counters will assist vehicle owners in applying for HKeToll’s services.
Thirty-four new HKeToll consultation counters will be installed throughout Hong Kong starting 24 February to assist vehicle owners in applying for the tolling system’s services, the city’s Transport Department announced.
Twenty-five service points will be at the city’s Mass Transit Railway (MTR) stations and operate daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. The remaining nine will be at the Home Affairs Department in the New Territories and open from 9 AM to 7 PM from Mondays to Fridays, except public holidays.
Over 800,000 vehicle owners in Hong Kong can visit these consultation counters and present their identity card number, vehicle plate number, and a letter containing their registered e-contact means.
They can also apply for an HKeToll vehicle tag, open an account through the website or mobile app, update their e-contact, and set up payments in these service points.
