MTR resumes in-town check-in service by Cathay Pacific Airways at Hong Kong Station

The service will be available daily from 6 am to 3 pm.

MTR Corporation will resume the in-town check-in service by Cathay Pacific Airways at Hong Kong Station as part of the Airport Express (AEL) 25th-anniversary celebration.

The in-town check-in service will be available daily from 6 am to 3 pm. 

MTR said it will continue to communicate with other airlines regarding the arrangements for resuming in-town check-in service.

Apart from the resumption of Cathay’s in-town check-in service, MTR also announced an increase in the frequency of the AEL train service.

The AEL will fully resume its pre-COVID schedule on 5 July, meaning train services will be available every 10 minutes.

As part of the 25th-anniversary celebration, MTR will also give away 75,000 AEL single journey tickets worth $8m.

“The free tickets will be given out through MTR Mobile on a first-come, first-served basis on three Tuesdays in July, with 25,000 free tickets given out on each of the designated days,” the MTR said.
