Gaw Capital partners with CLP Power for sustainability initiatives
CLP Power will develop energy management solutions for Gaw Capital's properties.
CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, CLPe, and real estate private equity firm Gaw Capital Partners have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to implement solutions enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.
Under the agreement, CLP Power will look into energy management solutions for Gaw Capital's properties, including promoting low-carbon electrification projects and training employees to increase their awareness and knowledge of retro-commissioning.
CLP Power will also assist Gaw Capital in reducing its energy consumption and carbon emissions to meet the requirements of the sustainability-linked loan the latter applied for.
Meanwhile, CLPe will upgrade the existing cooling systems in Gaw Capital's properties to more energy-efficient ones. It will also provide advisory services for energy conservation projects to achieve its low-carbon business goals.
