Government House opens for public
Visitors are welcome on 10 March at 10am-5pm.
According to a release, Government House will be open to the public on March 10 from 10am to 5pm.
Visitors can enjoy the garden and see where the Chief Executive receives dignitaries and holds official functions.
Free guided tours will teach visitors about the history and architectural features of the distinguished building, and the Hong Kong Police Band and student ensembles will give musical performances.
Interactive display boards will share the history and architecture of Government House. Visitors with smartphones can scan 2D barcodes to access in-depth information.
To ensure those already waiting can be admitted, queuing outside Government House may be stopped before 5pm.
