Hong Kong top travel destination in Asia

Hong Kong is also the only Asian city in the top 10 travel destinations worldwide.

The ranking is based on the preference of the users of travel website TripAdvisor.

According to the Hong Kong Information Services Department, Hong Kong is ranked alongside New York, London and Paris in the top 10 destinations worldwide.

James Tien, Hong Kong Tourism Board Chairman, commented that to be selected by millions of travellers as one of their favourite destinations is a strong testament to Hong Kong's global appeal and popularity.

“It not only reaffirms our city’s position as a leading travel destination in the region, but also pays tribute to the hard work and effort of every member of our tourism industry,” he said.
