Jetour customer enquiries grow 350% in Q1
The growth proved that travel has returned after the three-year ban.
Jetour recorded a 350% increase in customer enquiries in the first quarter of 2023 due to the increasing number of Hong Kong residents departing by land, sea, and air—a 70% rebound of pre-pandemic figures.
The travel provider also recorded a 400% growth in cruise-related enquiries due to the city welcoming the first cruise ship after its government lifted its three-year travel ban, an 85% rebound of pre-pandemic figures.
Marco Kong, Jetour Travel's Managing Director, said the increase proved that travel has returned and has poised for a strong recovery.

"Our revenue in the first quarter was triple that of the previous quarter, and we expect the trend to continue as more people look to increase their spending on travel after years of stringent restrictions," Kong added.
