The total number of recipients stood at 345,655. Low-earnings cases fell 1.7% to 4,831 while unemployment cases dropped 1.2% to 13,707. Permanent disability cases decreased 0.5% to 17,317 while ill health cases dropped 0.4% to 23,943. Old age cases fell 0.1% to 144,694 while single parent cases increased 0.1% to 26,711.
