Samsung 16GB Galaxy Note III to launch in Hong Kong
Will begin selling September 25.
Samsung will launch the 16GB version of its popular Galaxy Note III in Hong Kong to complement its existing 32 GB and 64 GB versions that are not being sold in HK, however.
Galaxy Note III was official announced September 4. The smartphone has a 5.7 inch full HD touch screen display and 3 GB of RAM. It also has a 13 megapixel camera on the back that comes with full HD video recording, and a front camera for video calls.
The model has the usual set of connectivity options: Wi-Fii, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB3.0 support and NFC, among others. The smartphone runs the Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
Galaxy Note III should land on shelves in Hong Kong on September 25 in both 3G and LTE iterations. Media reports said the Exynos 5 Octa 3G model will be priced at HK$5,998 while the Snapdragon 800 4G LTE flavor will go for HK$6,198.
What remains to be seen is whether Samsung will launch the 32 GB and 64 GB variants of Galaxy Note 3 in Hong Kong as well, though no specific info on this has been provided.
