Having completed its major refurbishment in late 2011, Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel continues to enhance guests’ hospitality experience by introducing the brand new Connect Lounge, gym and two state-of-the-art function rooms.  Acceding to the current impeccable Centenary ballroom at Lobby level and meeting venues on Level 6, the forth level of the hotel is now equipped with more event spaces.

In a release, the Hong Kong Park Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that a thematic exhibition on African Violet is being held at Forsgate Conservatory of Hong Kong Park. More than 600 pots of African Violet are on display featuring a variety of species, including some very special species. They are classified in terms of the flowers type such as Fantasy, Two-tone, Chimera and in terms of the leaf type such as Wavy and Variegated.

In a release, JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong announced the completion of its popular alfresco Fish Bar refurbishment on level 7. Diners can look forward to an upgraded modern restaurant with a fine selection of Fish Bar ever classic and sustainable seafood dishes for lunch and dinner. The restaurant also includes an additional outdoor area where guests can just sit back and enjoy their meals by the newly renovated pool and pool deck. Additional highlights to the refurbishment programme also include a brand new pool bar and lounge to be unveiled on 1 May 2013. Set adjacent to Fish Bar, the trendy venue will offer a collection of award‐winning international wines, classic and contemporary cocktails, including signature sunset concoctions and themed happy hours, complemented by delicious snacks.
